Hey there!

Thanks for stopping by to get to know me a little better. Time is valuable and I appreciate you spending a moment of yours here with me.

For many years, my professional projects have focused on encouraging harmonious relationships between people, animals, and the natural world. While that remains a primary guiding lens for my work, I've found that my calling has evolved in recent years.

Here's a quick overview -

My mission is to use outreach, education, advocacy, and creative expression to:

1. Offer compassionate support to individuals as they travel along their unique path to find joy within themselves.

2. Hold space for others to express their authentic truth and enthusiastically explore their passions.

3. Highlight the power of experiencing awe-inspiring moments in our daily lives, especially in the natural world.

My vision is one of happier and more resilient communities - where each day is filled with more of the small moments of sunshine that we can create within ourselves and discover in the world around us.

My values include: leading with empathy - embracing lifelong learning - listening to the voices and experiences of others - celebrating the strengths found in our differences - believing that love can become bolder than fear.

I've spent the majority of my career working or volunteering with nonprofit organizations, most recently enjoying several meaningful years as a psychiatric service dog trainer. Labels can only capture so much, though, so once we begin to dive into my professional history I'll also be sharing a little bit about what makes me... me. That's coming soon - including a few fun facts that you may not expect!

In the meantime, I want to make a couple of things clear:

I am not a life coach or a wellness guru. I don't have all of the answers and I make mistakes. I still have lots of learning to do in this lifetime.

What I am is simply a human on their own vulnerable journey of self-discovery and self-appreciation. Someone who has learned to look for untapped potential in everything and everyone around me. Someone who wants to see more light in this world and is determined to play even a small role in making that happen. Someone who had to learn (the hard way...) to stop chasing the sun and instead become my own source of light.

Sending warm rays of sunshine your way -
